A sustainable business

“If you think the economy is more important than the environment, try holding your breath while counting your money.” – Professor Guy McPherson

The textile industry is one of the biggest polluting industries of the world. Surveys show that nearly 5% of all landfill space is consumed by textile waste. Besides, 20% of all fresh water pollution is made by textile treatment and dyeing.

Our mission is making our business completely sustainable and environment friendly:

  • By manufacturing biodegradable tights and socks with eco-friendly technology
  • By using technology that is energy efficient,
  • By using organic vegan colors for dyeing that are not polluting the waters
  • By using organic chemicals for the finishing process
  • By reusing the water, we use for dyeing
  • By switching to biodegradable packaging and
  • By working towards switching to completely “green” production.

Giving back to society

“We make a living by what we get, but we make a life by what we give.” – Winston Churchill

With the textile industry being a big employer for the female population (and most of our employees are women) we decided that the new job positions that will open-up as we expand our business to be intended for employment of single moms. We want to give back to society in any ways we seem possible.

It’s not just a team, it’s a family

“If everyone is moving forward together, then success takes care of itself.” – Henry Ford

Our company is 80% owned by female entrepreneurs. Knowing all the challenges in todays business world for women, we would like to give thanks to our biggest supporter. Our brand is part of “For Lady”, a family company established in 1995 in the small county of Macedonia in Europe. “For Lady” grew to be the market leader in the last decade manufacturing the best quality tights and socks on the Macedonian market. “For Lady” stood up behind our team and our idea when we submitted our application for innovation grant at the Macedonian Fund for Innovation and Technological development. The development of our innovative product was completely financed by “For Lady” and the Macedonian Fund for Innovation and Technological development.
